The demolition of an icon

We’re saddened to hear that developers have been given the go ahead to demolish the iconic Earls Court exhibition centres as part of a redevelopment programme.
The ‘established international Exhibition Centres attract 1.5 million visitors, 15,000 exhibitors and 300 events each year, are estimated to be worth £1.25 billion to London’s economy and supports around 12,500 London jobs‘. Sadly it will mean another piece of London’s art deco architecture will bite the dust, we’re hoping that its replacement isn’t another generically insipid analogue.
